The distillate of a ripe plum mash is aged for five years in oak vats, made from sessile oak wood, which has an ideal composition for the distillate ageing process. This gives the spirit its gold color, an aroma close to that of cognac, and a harmonious fruity flavor with a distinctive woody undertone.
